Vereins-und Westbank, part of European banking group HypoVereinsbank, says the new software will enable traders to complete scenario analyses quickly and allow risk management staff to monitor trading positions.

The contract marks AFA System's first win in Northern Gemany for its Dart package, which comprises of pricing and risk management products, systems development, training and support for both Exchange Traded and OTC derivatives.

The London-based software house recently moved to the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) having delisted its shares from the London Stock Exchange's main market following a £1 million cost reduction programme last year.
