Crest announced last week that it was introducing electronic proxy voting services to its shareholders.

Syntegra says the proxy voting market is a new area of business for SettleNet which already serves more than 140 customers. Both ISS and ADP says they will submit proxy voting instructions on behalf of shareholders via the SettleNet service.

ISS is to offer its VoteX platform and ADP its PorxyEdge and ProxyEdge Lite products to custodial banks and institutional investors across Europe.
