SunGard's eProcess Intelligence division has launched a confirmations module with version 7.0 of its reconciliation system, IntelliMatch.
IntelliMatch analyses and processes Swift and broker confirmations and processes trade confirmations and payment advices, automatically reconciling cash accounts (including nostro), securities, front office to back office systems, ATM’s and generic matching.
The new confirmations module will automatically match trade confirmations and advices on a real-time basis, based upon an institution’s best practice, using user definable matching rules, claims the company.
The software includes an enrichment facility designed to improve the poor automatic match rates attributed to poor referencing. For example, information contained within a confirmation can be used to enrich a cash and/or securities item via user definable rules.
A duplicate check feature ensures the back office application, counterparty or broker has not mistakenly sent a confirmation more than once.
