Traders working at Barclays Capital's 260,000 square foot MetLife Building facility have been supplied with NEC MultiSync LCD1880SX monitors.

Kingsley Poulton, director of technology relocation, Barclays Capital, says: "Monitors play an integral role in a trader's job so it is essential that they have access to the best image quality and advanced features available."

NEC-Mitsubishi Electronics says flat-panel LCD monitors offer savings in power consumption and cooling power compared to CRT monitors, and occupy far less desktop real estate.
