Madrid-based Bankinter has signed a 10 year outsourcing contract with IBM to manage its IT network.
Under the agreement, the banks two data centres will also be consolidated into one which will be operated by IBM. In addition, the IT firm will provide the bank with disaster recovery services.
Bankinter says it will maintain control of its management systems strategy.
