BrokerageAmerica has signed up for Reuters Messaging, the new instant messaging service for the financial markets developed by the news and information group in conjunction with Microsoft.
BrokerageAmerica joins a global community of more than 450 firms that have already signed up for the service.
Anthony Martinez, SVP and head of trading operations, BrokerageAmerica, comments: "Reuters Messaging is a cost effective and secure communications channel that broadens BrokerageAmerica's link to the financial services industry."
Reuters is to make its new instant messaging service available as a standalone application and also within desktop products beginning with Reuters 3000 Xtra.
