Financial information and technology vendor Thomson Financial is to provide its IFR Markets global news and analysis over CQG's terminals.
Under the agreement, CQG will provide the service through a link to Thomson Financial's Web site.
Traders using CQG's decision and execution platform will have access to the full range of real-time information from Thomson IFR Markets, including IFR BondData, IFR Capital Markets, IFR Emerging Markets, IFR ForexWatch and IFR Mortgage Data.
Eugene Sorenson, director, US marketing, CQG, says: "IFR is a natural enhancement to CQG given both products roots are in technical analysis. The integration of the two products facilitates analysis and decision making by traders."
The agreement with Thomson Financial is one of a range of market data distribution deals agreed between CGQ and third party vendors in recent weeks.
