Yahoo! and HSBC's online person-to-person money transfer service Yahoo! PayDirect is to implement Experian's authentication system to verify customer information.
Experian says the real-time system features a Web application that authenticates a consumer's identity using information from its proprietary databases, providing a secure way to detect fraud and reduce losses.
