Chase Manhattan Bank has selected Aurum Technology to provide image-based item processing services for the bank's credit card operations.

Under the five-year deal, Aurum will develop and operate automated capture services for select inclearing products, specifically the processing of convenience cheques issued to Chase Manhattan credit card holders. Aurum will process the items at its New Castle, Delaware, facility.

Additionally, the Texas-based vendor is developing customised workflow and management reporting capabilities for the bank.
