Deutsche Bank and software partner Trace Datawise have been awarded The Technology Managers Forum (TMF) Business Process Improvement Award for the dbInstruct browser-based data entry and message generation system.
The technology, repackaged for sales to third party banks under the banner WebTM, provides end-to-end transaction processing by integrating trade entry capabilities into a customisable investment management Web platform.
The solution operates by routing investment trades through a single Internet hub. The technology conforms with both securities and cash and foreign exchange message standards (ISO15022 and ISO7775).
To qualify for the award, which is voted on by IT directors at major US corporations, the software must affect at least 200 staff and be deployed by organisations with a minimum $200 million in gross annual revenue.
