Chicago Stock Exchange joins Radianz IP network

RadianzNet will give member firms an IP option for accessing CHX's Max automated trading system and other services.

Floor traders will also have electronic access to their firm's intranet and to other service providers connected to RadianzNet.

"Radianz will appreciably shorten our time to market because its infrastructure already is connected to the firms that want to use our services," says John Kerin, senior vice president and chief technology officer, CHX. "We will not have to wait weeks or months for network connectivity to our current and future members."

Radianz is set announce deals with the Boston Stock Exchange and Bourse de Montréal later in the week. Finextra understands that the Boston exchange will connect its integrated communications, order-routing and trading system Beacon to the financial extranet and Bourse de Montréal will link up via the Montréal Automated System (SAM).
