Futures, options and OTC broker, Cargill Investor Services, has selected FNX's Sierra System to support its global derivatives trading and back office operations.
CIS has licensed Sierra System's FX cash, FX options, commodities, and general ledger modules for front, middle and back-office functionality. The installation will include the product's real-time limits, margin monitoring, and interface capabilities.
Joel Steindel, global OTC operations manager at CIS explains: "As our client services cover a wide range of asset classes, including FX cash, FX options, commodities, bullion, and LME, it was imperative that we select a system that could cover all of our growing OTC activities."
He says the system's Internet-based technologies and flexible APIs will provide CIS' clients with faster order placement and quicker access to account statements.
