Alltel has signed a $91 million contract extension of a long-term information technology (IT) outsourcing agreement with Hibernia National Bank.
The eight-year extension calls for Alltel Information Services to continue to provide IT outsourcing services for the bank, and for the provision of new software components. The revised package includes Alltel's wireless event notification system, which is designed to help cut back on paper-based customer correspondence.
