Girobank's online bill payment service, BillPay, has registered its 100,000th Web user.
The UK bank says that almost 200 organisations now accept payments via BillPay, including councils, utility companies, housing associations and the Inland Revenue.
Users need only a debit card and Internet access to register for the service, which has processed about £25 million in bill payments since its launch in January 2000.
