Moneyline fills Tullett hole with Icap swaps data

Moneyline Telerate has struck a deal with interdealer broker Icap to provide new swaps, spreads and derivatives pricing data to its Capital Market 19900 pages. The move follows an acrimonious split with former market data provider Tullett Financial Information.

Moneyline fills Tullett hole with Icap swaps data

The new Icap data will complement the feed currently provided by its newly-acquired sister company BrokerTec, a fully electronic interdealer broker of fixed income securities that has been the exclusive source of US treasury market data to Moneyline Capital Markets since November 2001. Icap's foreign exchange, money markets and corporate fixed income pricing has already been available on Moneyline Telerate for several years.

The addition of Icaps' swaps data follows a recent breakdown in relationships with former provider Tullett & Tokyo Liberty after the broker decided to disseminate its premium North American SwapMarker service over Reuters during the Bridge bankruptcy proceedings. Tullett has since complained that Moneyline acted to pull the plug on its feed without negotiating a hand-over.

Moneyline says it will provide the new Icap data free to all users for a limited trial period.
