Online person-to-person payment operator PayPal is to extend its reach into the German Internet development community through a co-marketing agreement with Web build technology company Website Pros.
Under the agreement, the new German version of Website Pros' NetObjects Fusion 7 package for building online storefronts will be shipped with a PayPal wizard allowing developers to add P2P payment facilities to e-commerce Websites. The package is already used by 1.5 million Web site developers in Germany.
The German release follows a successful US launch of NetObjects Fusion 7 that also carries a version of the PayPal component
Dave McClure, director, PayPal developer network programme, says: "We are eager to bring our global e-commerce solution to the large base of loyal NetObjects Fusion users throughout Germany."
