IFC and Delta Capital pump $2.5 million into risk vendor Egar

Risk management vendor Egar Technology has secured $2.5 million in additional funding from Delta Capital Management and the International Finance Corporation.

IFC, the private sector development arm of the World Bank Group, is providing an equity investment of $1.5 million. Delta Capital Management, manager of The US Russia Investment Fund, is participating with a $1 million equity investment.

Two-year old Egar Technology has headquarters in New York and a research & development centre in Moscow. The company employs 125 staff and has developed a suite of trading, risk management and analytical systems, custom application development, Web application and ASP services, and integration and implementation services for the capital markets.
