UK risk management solutions provider Accurate Software has partnered with South African financial IT solutions company Global Technology to establish a presence in the African market.
Under the agreement, Global Technology will provide sales and support services for Accurate Software's reconciliation and exceptions management solutions in Africa.
Accurate says recent decisions by Old Mutual and digital satellite television company MultiChoice to implement the firm's software in their South African operations were influenced by the tie-up.
Philip Hall, managing director at Accurate Software, confirmed the benefits of the alliance saying: "Working with a market leader such as Global Technology ensures that Accurate's customers are provided with the consistently high level of support they have come to expect from us, but with the added advantage of local expertise."
