Australia and New Zealand Bank (ANZ) has selected Oracle iLearning as the delivery platform for its new online training service.
The newly launched ANZ Online Learning Services will use the Oracle platform to deliver internally-produced content to business partners and branch offices throughout Australia.
According to Brian Mitchell, managing director, Oracle Australia, ANZ's commitment demonstrates the increasing importance of e-learning to Australian organisations.
"ANZ understands that effective training is at the core of successful e-business strategies and has illustrated this by taking a leading role in the industry," he says.
ANZ says it chose Oracle as the exclusive learning management system vendor for the venture after conducting an extensive competitive evaluation. RecruitASP, an Australia-based provider of hosted recruitment applications and services, will host the service for the bank.
