Middleware vendor HelioGraph says it has successfully completed first-stage testing of the connectivity module between its straight-through processing package TradeFlow and the Omgeo virtual matching utility.
HelioGraph says it successfully sent its first messages to the Omgeo CTN platform on behalf of MFS Investment Management in July. The Boston-based fund manager plans to go live with its Omgeo connection sometime in early 2003.
MFS already uses HelioGraph technology to generate ISO 15022 settlement messages for its custodians and the firm has also licensed HelioGraph's eVent corporate actions automation solution. MFS is one of only eight fund managers participating in Omgeo's early adopter programme.
