Under the agreemnt, Idom will offer the LiveVault Online Backup & Recovery Service as a component of its suite of automated banking services and products.

LiveVault's online service automatically and continuously backs up server data to a secure, off-site Iron Mountain facility, and makes it immediately available for recovery, should a bank suffer a disaster, system failure or human computing error.

Vincent Raniere, president and CFO of Idom, comments: "The LiveVault service is the standard for backup and recovery because it continually backs up customers' electronic data assets to a secure, remote vault for system restore, offering uncompromising business continuity."

The solution will be targeted at small and mid-sized banks who do not possess large back-up data centres and are still using tape-based back-up.
