Misys is reporting the resignation of Strone Macpherson, the Group's executive deputy chairman.
Macpherson (54) will step down from the board following the Annual General Meeting on 1 October, 2002 but will be available to Misys on a consultancy basis until the end of November 2004.
He will also remain as chairman of the Misys Charitable Foundation, which provides financial support to students and educational establishments.
His resignation comes two weeks after Misys reported lower second half profits and appointed a new CEO to its underperforming banking and securities division.
