Top five Japanese credit card issuer Credit Saison has contracted with Cyota to deliver Verified by Visa (3D Secure) Internet authentication technology to its 10 million Visa card holders.
Credit Saison's Verified by Visa programme is one of the first large scale commercial implementations of Visa's new programme in Japan. Cyota SecureVbV, part of Cyota's SecureSuite platform, is a Verified by Visa-compliant solution that reduces fraud by authenticating cardholders and producing online purchase receipts for their approval.
Credit Saison will be using the Japanese version of the software, offered and supported by Cyota's partner in Japan, Intelligent Wave Inc.
