The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) has launched two new micro Web sites in Chinese and Spanish to accommodate the growing number of international investors who are choosing to trade options.

Chinese and Spanish-speaking investors will be able to access a number of educational tools on the CBOE Web site in their own language. The 'products' section provides an overview of CBOE index products, stock options, and exchange traded funds is explained.

In the 'learning centre' section, users can study the fundamentals of investing with options, as well as refer to a comprehensive glossary of options definitions and terminology.

In the 'strategy' section, the various methodologies for how to use options are covered. Additionally, the section includes 'options FAQs' and a direct link to The Options Institute, the educational arm of CBOE.

Edward Provost, executive vice president, business development, CBOE, says: "This latest innovation to cboe.com will enhance our educational efforts for the growing number of international investors who are incorporating options into their investment portfolios."
