ACI Proactive Risk Manager combines rules-based detection with patented neural network technology to assess and score account transactions. The package is currently used by 30 banks worldwide for the detection of debit and credit card fraud. Data is pulled from all payments and account types for a complete view of activity, and suspicious transactions are are flagged for attention.

Marilynn Wagner, senior vice president and director of corporate compliance for Huntington, says: "ACI's software will help us detect suspicious activity early so we can take necessary steps to stop it while protecting our legitimate customers."

The solution interoperates with existing authorisation systems and operates on a wide range of hardware platforms.
