Alliance & Leicester Business Banking (A&LBB) has launched a start-up service which includes 12 months' free banking and 24-hour online and telephone support.
The service, which is aimed at the 500,000-plus people who establish new ventures each year, includes a 24-hour advice line, access to specialist start-up managers and free business planning software.
A&LBB's start-up pack includes a step-by-step guide to setting up a business and free business planning CD-ROM. Both advice and the business planning software can be found at the A&LBB Web site at www.mybusinessbank.co.uk. There is general business advice plus guidance for a large number of specific sectors - ranging from accountants and antique dealers to video rental outlets and wholesalers.
