Dublin-based banking technology vendor Fineos has made a number of key senior appointments to enahnce its sales management and strategic partnership capabilities.
Derek Finnerty has joined Fineos as global sales and marketing director and will have responsibility for defining and delivering the company's new business development strategy. Prior to his appointment, Finnerty worked in Nortel Networks where he held a number of pan-European senior management positions.
Joe Flynn has been appointed as director of strategic alliances with responsibility for developing Fineos's partner channel strategy, initially focusing on leading global systems integrators. Prior to joining the company, Flynn worked for Horizon Technologies e-business division where he was responsible for developing their SAP and Siebel practices and most recently their managed services solutions offering.
In the UK, Ian Duke has been appointed as sales director with responsibility for developing new business in the banking sector. Prior to this, Duke held the position of global sales director for Intelligent Environments where he was responsible for managing new business development in the e-finance applications environment.
