As part of this endorsement, Mercator plans to provide out-of-the-box connectivity between its Integration Broker middleware and the UA Network.

The initiative aims to take a vendor-independent approach to the design and development of end-to-end business integration processes and make the initial integration of Siebel eBusiness Applications with other systems, such as billing and invoiving, move quickly.

Mercator says that Integration Broker will be formatted to connect the Universal Application Network with other applications and technology components, such as messaging systems, databases, and communications choices.
