Slovakia's Istrobanka is to implement Vasco's Digipass security technology to safeguard its customers' remote access transactions.
The Vasco authentication technology is already integrated into OfficeLine, an electronic banking system from local vendor A && L soft which Istrobanka is using to provide customers with remote banking via Internet and telephone channels.
The Digipass security enables the bank to control account access, with a dynamic password and two-factor authentication to authenticate customers and a digital signature to verify the authenticity of information and transactions.
Karel Krenzelok of A && L soft, says: "Based on our success with Istrobanka, we are now introducing Digipass to our other bank and corporate network customers throughout Slovakia."
