Using the Gain | wireless service, clients can use their mobile phones, PDAs, RIM and other wireless handheld devices to access real-time FX rates for ten currency pairs, up to the minute FX news, and the latest market commentary from Gain senior traders.

Users are also provided with real-time access to account information, including balances, realised and unrealised P&L, value of open positions, available margin, and they can view order status and trade history.

Mark Galant, CEO and founder of Gain Capital, says: "Supporting real time FX information and dealing capabilities via multiple delivery channels gives our clients a competitive advantage in the market."

Michael Thwaite, vice president, infrastructure at Gain Capital, adds: "Online FX is a highly competitive, rapidly maturing industry, and the speed of development and deployment offered by .NET was an important factor in our choice of technology."

Future releases of Gain | wireless, scheduled for later this year, will include additional features such as the ability to set rate alerts, enter stop and limit orders, and receive alerts once pending orders are executed.
