Pan-European stock market Easdaq has launched a new Web site for subscribers to view streaming real-time prices and news using a standard browser.
The Easdaqlive site uses RTTP, a system for displaying streaming market data from UK-based Caplin Systems, which removes the need to refresh or reload Web pages or to download software in order to receive up-to-the-second information. Caplin also designed and built the Easdq corporate Web site.
Easdaqlive offers professional-quality data from 15 of the world's leading equity markets, as well as news from Dow Jones Newswires, currency rates and indices. The site is available to preview for free until November. Thereafter, subscribers will be charged a monthly access fee.
