AFS ImageVision is a Windows NT-based system that supports electronic capture, encoding and clearing of cheque and other documents. The product suite will provide the bank with proof-of-deposit and inclearing sort functionality, multiple institution and multiple day processing, fine sort algorithms, instant item access with instant research capability, suggestive balancing, and user customisable system reports, says the company.

Tony Leon Guerrero, president of Bank of Guam, says: "With ImageVision Check, our bank employees now have immediate access to customer information, allowing them to research inquiries on the spot. Any customer can now approach a teller with a question about a cheque or deposit and view their items online and not have to wait for a reply to show up in the mail several days later."
