E*Trade Canada is offering next generation exchange traded fund investing, under a discounted pricing arrangement with Guardian Capital Advisors.
Self-directed investors will be able to use E*Trade's online trading service with Guardian's ETFolios investment management service, with as little as $50,000.
As part of the ETFolios service, Guardian is offering an online tool, ETFolios Investor Profile, that tailors a portfolio of ETFs for each customer. In addition, Guardian's advisors will actively manage a client's ETFolio for ongoing diversification and tax efficiency.
Mark Yamada, managing director of Guardian Capital Advisors, comments: "It is a natural extension for Guardian to leverage the cost-efficiencies of the Internet, and extend our advisory services to self-directed investors."
