Middle Eastern-based CreditCard Services Company (CSC) has purchased a second Connex payment switching solution from eFunds International.
CSC provides a range of card and electronic payment services to banks in Lebanon and the Middle East, including the Housing Bank for Trade and Finance, the largest bank in Jordan, Byblos Bank SAL, Societe Generale de Banque au Liban and Banque De La Mediterranee.
CSC first purchased eFunds' switching solution in 1995 to manage the complete electronic debit cycle for its customers, including ATM and POS electronic funds transfer driving, switching, authorisation and settlement services.
This latest implementation of Connex, due to take place in the second quarter of 2002, will extend the service to new banking clients in the Middle East.
