JPMorgan Institutional Trust Services has licensed technology from New Jersey-based Principia Partners to support its global asset-backed commercial paper (ABCP) conduit administration business.
The bank says it will use the Principia system - which provides portfolio management, reporting and accounting capabilities - for both proprietary and third party conduit programmes under its management. These include acting as a commercial paper depositary, issuing and paying agent, collateral agent, security trustee, commercial paper administrator and SPV administrator.
