E-payments solution provider CardinalCommerce has teamed up with New York-based Safewww, to develop an authentication solution that supports the new Visa 3-D Secure and MasterCard SPA secure payment initiatives.
The solution will combine Safewww's IDshield authentication technology with Cardinal's proprietary payment authentication platform to enable credit/debit card issuers to deploy a secure payment infrastructure without legacy system integration, say the companies.
It will support both the Visa and MasterCard programmes and new initiatives expected from other payment networks, including Concord EFS/Star.
