Ceska sporitelna, the largest bank in the Czech Republic, has purchased 50,000 units of Vasco's Digipass 700 product to provide customers with secure remote Internet access to their financial accounts.
The order is in addition to the 10,000 Digipass devices already in use by the bank's customers. Vasco's Digipass product line secures transactions via phone or Internet by generating unique passwords and digital signatures.
Ales Mamica, remote service unit head at Ceska sporitelna, comments: "Digipass is an important part of our new e-banking system, offering authentication security to our customers."
