Swiss-based investment management technology vendor Advent Software has acquired its independent distributors in Denmark, Sweden and Norway, for approximately $12 million.
Advent says the purchase follows a two-year effort to help support the organisations while they developed and established themselves in their local markets. Major Scandinavian clients include Jyske Bank in Denmark, Acta in Norway, and Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB in Sweden.
Advent has similar relationships with additional independent distributors in Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and Greece.
