PegaCHECK R&A is based on a pre-packaged configuration of the PegaCRM technology, and is specifically designed to meet the needs of cheque research and adjustments areas. It includes automated workflows designed to cut manual involvement in cheque investigations. Additional features include complete multi-state/multi-bank suspense accounting, fully automatic cheque "all-items" research, and automated, integrated interfaces to systems such as fedline, reconciliation, DDA, GL, customer information files, and bank routing and transit number files.

PegaIMAGE Manager is a new product designed to automatically request, retrieve, manage, file, and distribute cheque and other images whether from image archives, from image capable reader/printers, or both.

Both products integrate with Pegasystems' existing retail banking software that automates customer service and fulfilment for retail bank contact centres. Pegasystems' solutions have been implemented at nine of the top twelve North American banks.

Pegasystems also signalled the formalisation of its alliance with Accenture, with whom it has worked on a number of US installations during the course of the past year. The two companies say they will explore joint business development activities, pursue sales and marketing opportunities, and investigate the potential for joint product offerings for financial services organisations in North America and Canada.

As part of the agreement, Pegasystems applications are expected to be installed in Accenture's Ideas Exchange and certain Solutions Centres, for product demonstrations and implementation testing.
