The move follows the recent appointment of Keith Holmes as Point's new chief executive officer, and will involve the company extending the scope of its co-operation with major partners including Logica, Ecsoft, Steria and Sydios to expand European geographic and vertical market coverage for e-point.

The e-point product suite provides businesses with a global, real-time view of all their customer, partner activities and includes four channels - e-point Contact Centre, e-point Mobile, e-point Customer Portal and e-point Partner Portal - that facilitate two-way communication through any chosen media including Web, WAP, PDA, voice and fax.

New CEO, Keith Holmes, says: "We'll concentrate particularly on markets such as insurance, banking and call centres - where we've won two major international contracts for e-point in the last month alone - and where we believe there are still considerable growth opportunities in Emea for 2002 and beyond."

According to recent research from CRM analysts, the Hewson Group, Emea remains a strong CRM growth market, outstripping the US by between 30 and 40 per cent in 2001.
