Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), Shanghai Stock Exchange and Shenzhen Stock Exchange have introduced a consolidated market information resource, China Stock Markets Web, following an agreement signed in May for the mutual sharing of securities market and listed company data.
The shared site is integrated in the existing Web sites of the three participants and contains information on the securities markets in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Shenzhen and companies listed in the three cities. The site offers both Chinese and English interfaces.
The information service comprises five main sections: listed companies' announcements; listed companies' annual, interim and quarterly reports; information on listed companies (including major shareholders, dividends and other basic financial data); and share prices from the three markets and major indices from the three markets.
In addition to stock transaction data of the three exchanges, information about share capital data, share bonuses and majority shareholders are available. To help investors' decision making, the Web site contains listed companies' finance data and comparisons of the latest trading data of a company's A and H shares.
