Regions Financial Corporation is implementing S1's Consumer Banking software package on the IBM eServer zSeries.
Regions says it will use the technology to deliver a wide range of multi-channel services including Internet banking, account aggregation and wireless data access and transactions.
"We are a long-standing customer of both companies," says Mike Jackson, president of e-commerce at Regions. "We run many of our systems on the IBM platform and rely on S1 for our consumer banking applications. With the two companies joining forces to deliver a complete e-finance solution, we are realising a substantially greater return on our technology investment."
The S1 Consumer Banking software will enable Regions to provide its customers with multi-channel access to current, savings, CD, money market, credit card and loan accounts.
