The new platform, developed by TietoEnator-owned Entra, is intended to create an easily accessible pan-European Web-based market site for both DWS' own and a large number of other managers' fund products, says the bank. The solution is directed towards independent financial advisors, such as insurance brokers, as well as their agents, and end customers.

The site will offer personalisation features and include access to real-time advice and comparative tools for analysing different funds.

Jurgen Krippes, IT director and project manager at DWS, says: "During the procurement phase, when we compared different IT companies, the choice went to TietoEnator since they displayed an in-depth knowledge of the finance sector and fund solutions in particular. They also had a clear idea of how the project should be executed."
