Industry veteran Bill Pryor is understood to have left the investment bank to launch his own fintech company, Investics Data Services.
Having led product development for a big-data, cloud-based platform at Citi, the former global head of data and analytics, custody and funds services, will be focusing his energies on the cloud-based investment data and analytics firm.
Pryor spent four years at Citi, following stints at JP Morgan, State Street, The Boston Company, and Mellon Financial.
Targeted at institutional investors, Pryor’s fintech will specialise in product development and consulting for organisations including assets owners, asset managers, banks, and fund services providers.
The Investics site reads: “If your organisation is looking to finally get their arms around the collective data asset and empower the organisation and clients to become data centric in how they operate and compete, Investics can dramatically help in making that a reality.”
