The largest single location outside of Barclays' global headquarters in London, the Pune campus will be home to nearly half of the bank's Indian workforce, with teams "supporting the creation of smarter solutions" for consumer and wholesale clients, says a statement.

The environmentally-friendly campus is packed with the latest technology and start-of-the-art working spaces as well as a host of recreational perks.

Praveen Kumar, co-CEO, global services centre in India, Barclays, says: "As a technology hub for the bank, co-locating our teams will help drive greater collaboration and adoption of agile ways of working for our colleagues, thus enabling us to deliver faster and more innovative solutions for the Bank, and our customers and clients."
