Belgian bank and insurance group KBC has contracted with California-based SeeBeyond to integrate back and front office operations across the enterprise.
"As a wave of consolidation hits Europe from technological change and the introduction of the euro, KBC plans to integrate its banking and insurance activities to form a major European universal financial group," says Carl Tilkin-Franssens, general manager, ICT Development at KBC. "SeeBeyond provides us with a flexible infrastructure to rapidly reap the benefits of this integration."
KBC operates 1000 bank branches in Belgium and is present in almost 30 countries around the world.
