Citi has promoted Anne-Maree Tassell as the new head of operations and technology for EMEA.
Formerly the head of operations and technology for Australia and New Zealand, Tassell will relocate to London for the new role, reporting to Stuart Riley, head of ICG O&T.
Her responsiblities include senior management of operations in the UK, cross-product and and geography oversight and delivery, and the assessment and delivery of operational resilience, stated Citi.
Subject to regulatory approval, Tassell will start her new role on October 1. Adela Radulesco and Ganesh Vijaypurkar will jointly take on the role in the interim.
She has worked at Citi since 2000 having spent the previous five years at asset manager Schroders as manager of fixed income settlements.
Tassell's remuneration has not been disclosed but it is unlikely to be below $15 per hour after the US-based bank raised its minimum wage in the US to $15 per hour following pressure from US polticians.
