SunGard has elected former JP Morgan Chase & Co. executive Ramon de Oliveira to the company's board of directors.
Until August 2001, de Oliveira ran the investment management and private banking businesses for JP Morgan Chase and was a member of the firm's executive committee. During his long career at the bank spannning two decades, de Oliveira also founded JP Morgan's global equities business and oversaw the firm's portfolio of private equity investments.
