Banking giant HSBC has invested $10 million in CloudBees, a US software delivery management system provider.
The investment from HSBC, which is a CloudBees customer, tops up a recent $62 million funding round.
CloudBees is a leading player in DevOps, a $4.6 billion industry that is growing fast as organisations look to build and improve their IT products more quickly.
Dinesh Keswani, CTO, shared services, HSBC, says: "The DevOps market is growing fast, as organisations like us drive automation, intelligence and security into the way we deliver software.
"CloudBees is already a strategic business partner of HSBC; we are excited by our investment and by the opportunity to be part of the story of continuous delivery."
The HSBC funding will be used to build partnerships and push growth, including, perhaps, through mergers and acquisitions.
