Companhia Vale do Rio Doce (CVRD), the world’s largest producer of iron ore, has signed up to the bolero.net trade finance platform.
Bolero.net is striving to create an internationally accepted platform for administering cross-border trade transactions over the Internet.
Mozart Litwinski, CVRD´s iron ore and manganese executive director, comments: "With a faster and more efficient flow across the supply chain, we will better meet the needs of customers, decrease our costs, improve decision-making and the efficiency of our operations."
CVRD's recruitment follows the recent signings of steel giants Posco and Nippon Steel to the platform.
